Position Description

The College of Saint Scholastica School of Nursing is seeking a project manager for a federal grant that seeks to expand the rural nurse practitioner workforce in Minnesota. The Project Manager will work with the grant team to coordinate and implement project activities, oversee the selection of student participants and disbursement of funds, and monitor project activities and outcomes over a two-year period. The position is a full-time, 11-month/year non-tenure track faculty position in the Department of Graduate Nursing.

A Master’s degree in nursing with preparation in one of the following specialties: 1) Family Nurse Practitioner, 2) Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, or 3) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner is required. The successful candidate must currently hold or be eligible for RN and APRN licensure in Minnesota. Demonstrated cross-cultural communication skills, multicultural competency, and experience interacting effectively with diverse individuals are essential. A Doctoral degree in nursing or related field and recent experience as a nurse practitioner in providing direct, primary care is preferred.
